After a lengthy 16-year career in the oil fields of California, outside where he grew up in Bakersfield, Mike decided to make a bold change. Having always been intrigued by the world of barbering, one day he took a leap of faith, venturing to Austin, Texas, to enroll in a barbering school. With determination, he embraced this significant change in his life, kicking off his barbering career in a new city, starting from scratch and thriving in his newfound passion.
Fast forward to today, and Mike finds himself as one of the longest-serving employees at SCRUFF'S. With nearly four years under his belt, he's become an integral part of the family. What sets him apart are not just his barbering skills, but his remarkable personality. He understands that clients come back for the entire experience, valuing the way he makes them feel more than anything else. Mike connects with his clientele on a personal level, ensuring they leave not only with a great haircut but also with a smile on their face.
