Born and raised just outside Austin in nearby Dripping Springs, Lauren brings a decade of experience and serious style cred to the chair. After spending the last 10 years bouncing between Oahu, Seattle, and Colorado, she’s back in Austin, and SCRUFF’s is lucky to have her.
Lauren got her start cutting hair in high school (think swooped bangs and DIY mohawks), which eventually led her to Avenue Five in North Austin. She’s been licensed since 2011 and added a barbering license while living in Colorado.
She’s all about classic, timeless cuts, like a clean bald fade, short scissor work, and clipper sides with scissor tops, and yes, she’s a sucker for a great mullet. What really sets Lauren apart is the connection she builds with clients. For her, it’s not just about the cut. It’s about creating a space where people feel seen, heard, and taken care of. That trust and vibe? It goes both ways.
