Brian Deese’s journey into hairstyling was sparked by a combination of nostalgia and reinvention. Originally from Arlington, Texas, and raised in Tyler, Brian has always had a flair for creative pursuits, often experimenting with his mother’s hair as a child. Although those early "styling sessions" were just the playful trials of an 8-year-old, they hinted at a budding passion. In his twenties, he moved to Dallas/Fort Worth, where he spent over a decade working in professional services. But the corporate grind left him unfulfilled. Burned out and craving something meaningful, he decided to dive into the world of cosmetology—a leap that reignited his creative spirit.

Today, Brian brings that creative passion and fresh perspective to SCRUFF's, where he's not just another stylist but part of a family that values inclusivity and shared growth. Under the guidance of SCRUFF's founder, Timothy, whose dedication to his team and craft serves as a constant source of inspiration, Brian has found a place where he can truly shine. Though he initially considered specializing in color and extensions, he has since discovered a love for blonding and dramatic hair transformations. For Brian, each client interaction is more than just styling a head of hair; it’s a chance to offer empathy, rebuild confidence, and turn ordinary moments into personal care rituals. Through these transformations, Brian not only changes his clients’ looks but also renews their spirits, one style at a time.
